Silo Cock l (2026)

Inspired by the roosters that inhabited the farm surrounding Fraser’s Silo Studio, Silo Cock I celebrates the artist’s connection to rural life, creative freedom, and personal identity. Created entirely through Fraser’s signature Brush Stroke Technique, the rooster serves as both subject and metaphor, referencing the artist’s unconventional painting process and the physical instrument through which the work was created.

Long associated with confidence, vitality, and spirited independence, the rooster reflects Fraser’s outgoing nature and lifelong commitment to forging his own creative path. The subject also pays tribute to the rustic environment that continues to influence his practice, where grain fields, farm animals, and life inside a converted silo remain constant sources of inspiration.
