A monumental Canadian landscape rendered entirely through Brent Ray Fraser’s signature Brush Stroke Technique. Layers of gestural blue marks build a vast mountain range beneath a blazing horizon, creating a dramatic tension between tranquility and intensity. The work balances abstraction and representation, transforming the familiar wilderness into an emotionally charged landscape of movement, atmosphere, and light.

Inspired by Fraser’s travels throughout Canada, including journeys through the Rocky Mountains, Banff National Park, and the mountain ranges surrounding his Silo Studio, Mountain Sentinel I reflects a lifelong fascination with the scale, power, and enduring presence of the Canadian wilderness.
