Part of the Box Imprint series, Artifact I investigates the translation of sculptural form into flattened image. Physical pressure and direct imprinting preserve the geometry and structure of the original object while transforming it into an abstract visual record.

Each piece begins as a constructed form, compressed and transferred through direct contact before unfolding into a two-dimensional composition.
