Body Shirts are original wearable self-portraits by Brent Ray Fraser, created through direct impressions of the artist’s body. Bringing together the Dshirts and ASShirts collections, each piece transforms the body into both the instrument and the image.

Every shirt is individually handmade, signed, and entirely one of a kind. Body impressions, handprints, paint splatters, smudges, and variations in pressure preserve the physical process of creation. These marks are not imperfections. They are evidence of the artist’s body, movement, and touch.

Created on black 100% cotton T-shirts with black fabric paint, Body Shirts exist between self-portraiture, performance, printmaking, and wearable art.
